The first meeting of exchange of experiences of Buddhist cultures of the Southerners, Chinese and Tibetans: With the preparations done by the International Tibetan Buddhist Research Association the first ever meeting for exchange of experiences of Buddhist cultures of the Southerners, Chinese and Tibetans was held in the International hall of Taiwanese teachers’ training college in Taipei, Taiwan. That was the first Taiwan-Tibetan Buddhists meeting held to discuss in detail the general and specific conditions among the lineages primarily of Tibetan Buddhism and those scholars and important participants of the three Buddhist cultures of Southerners, Chinese and Tibetans. It is to mention that the discussions were held on topics like Buddhist recognition of the common Buddhist cultures of the Southerners, Chinese and Tibetans, Buddhist scriptural traditions of common Buddhist teachings of the three lineages, Buddhist practices of common Buddhist teachings of the three lineages, exchange of experiences of management of Buddhist teachings of the three lineages, exchange of experiences of promotion of Buddhist teachings of the three lineages and collect beneficial aspects of the common Buddhist teachings of the Southerners, Chinese and Tibetans.
